Bushbury Triangle Project
The Bushbury Triangle Project was a three year community development initiative funded by the National Lottery’s Reaching Communities programme. £290,000 was awarded to revitalise the under used Bushbury Triangle Resource Centre and re establish it as a vibrant hub at the heart the Bushbury Triangle Estate.
The project delivered a facelift for the centre, internally and externally making it a more welcoming and functional space for local residents. This renewal helped increase community use and created a base for a wide range of activities, from social groups to skills development.

A key achievement was the transformation of derelict land next to the centre into a community allotment, giving residents a shared outdoor space to grow food, learn new skills, and build connections. Alongside this, ConGens delivered practical training opportunities including first aid, IT skills, and walk leader training in partnership with Wolverhampton Ramblers.
The project increased community participation, and ensured the centre once again served as a focal point for support, learning, and social connection
