Choosing the right approach

Website design projects.
Different needs, thoughtful choices.

My website design projects start with the business: what it offers, who it needs to reach and what a visitor should do next. A clinic may need clear treatment information and a personal introduction. A shop needs a straightforward way to explore products. A service business needs to explain its work and make an enquiry easy.

Use the sector filter to explore the type of business. Use the platform filter to see which system runs the website. These describe different parts of a project, so you can combine them. A beauty and aesthetics website can also be a WordPress website; its sector explains the audience, while its platform explains the software behind it.

Look beyond the first screenshot

When reviewing website design projects, consider the whole journey. Can you find the main services? Is the information easy to scan? Does the website feel consistent from one page to the next? A good case study gives you the context behind the visual decisions, rather than asking a screenshot to explain everything.

PermaGlow is the first real case study in this collection. It brings together treatment navigation, personal photography and an elegant black-and-gold identity for a beauty and aesthetics business. Read the case study, then explore the live PermaGlow website to see its pages in context.
